.Christmas is a stunning long-hair Snowshoe with pale blue eyes and bright white little feet and fur like silk. He had a very rough start to his life. The people who got him as a kitten had no idea how to care for and treat a cat so he was both neglected and terrorized. The people in the home were quite rough with him and he became afraid to use the litter box properly for fear that they'd be nearby. It took him quite a while to get used to us at the shelter but now he's doing well and is ready for a new home. Because of his past experience he needs to be in an adult home that's quiet and peaceful, he gets very stressed when there's a lot of noise and activity at the shelter. He also needs to be the only pet in the household, he doesn't like dogs and other cats. His new family will need to be patient and give him all the time he needs to become comfortable in his new home. Once he does, he'll be a very sweet and loving companion.
